The site is located just to the south of Ashbourne town centre, adjacent to a new housing development by Redrow Homes known as Henmore Gardens.
The site area is circa 1.98 acres and the proposed development comprises a 72-bedroom care home and 10 family houses.
The proposed scheme will include associated car parking and gardens, including a sensory component and allotments intended to promote enablement and sustainability.
The existing buildings on site comprise a farmhouse and low grade outbuildings
