The proposals comprise a 72 bedroom care home, occupying a site of approx. 1.65 acres.
The palette of materials includes varying brickwork, cladding, render and both pitched and flat roofs.
The home has been designed from the outset to offer a dementia-friendly environment incorporating design guidance produced by the University of Stirling Dementia Services Development Centre (acknowledged leaders in this area of research).
The site forms part of the larger Woodcote Green Garden Centre complex and fronts onto Woodmansterne Lane.
The site is currently in use as a commercial horticultural nursery with planning consent for retail sales.
