- The palette of materials includes brickwork, cladding, render and grey roof tiles in keeping with the surrounding residential area.
- The development forms part of an established neighbourhood centre with an Asda Superstore, petrol filling station and ancillary retailing.
- The care home has been designed to provide four self contained “households”. Each household has its own day space/kitchenette and separate WC helping to engender a sense of family. These units are designed to create smaller communities within the care home allowing a more homely environment for the residents.
- The site is currently greenfield land.
